Description
There is no need to excavate the earth to uncover this hidden treasure, as it is already present and visible. Its worth lies in the joy it brings when we uncover it. We can only perceive this inner treasure once we clear our vision of the falsehoods that obscure our understanding. This treasure is composed of the self-sustaining life energy of our dominant love, which resides within our spiritual essence.
When love is mutual, we discover the treasure, yet we must still unlock it. This necessitates the cultivation of a goodness-based affection. The treasure remains safeguarded from those who do not align with the same rhythm of goodness. The key to accessing the treasure lies in our enlightened spiritual mind. As we start to explore the treasure and its riches of gold and silver, we become infused with the abundance they symbolize. By sharing its riches, we begin to recognize the treasure within others, fostering unity through the affection of goodness
As we develop a fondness for the virtues of mutual love, we are transformed to accept a divine influx that invigorates our blood cells, making us spiritually vibrant. In this state of unity, we access the Treasure through the outcome of a conjugial love experience. It imparts a spiritual essence that creates a lingering glow of joy and happiness, exclusively reserved for its divine humanity.

Preface
This book was inspired by my suspicion that someone had entered my apartment when I was not home. Nothing was stolen, but I felt a negative energy, which caused me such distress that I perceived it as a betrayal. I was so troubled by it that I began to say to myself, “You can lie, cheat and steal from me, but I will always love you my little child.” Yet, as I wrote it down, I immediately felt better, and started to write this book.
I had not written poetry for fifty years, not since I was between eighteen and twenty-five years old. I recently found some of my old poems and occasionally had read them again. Although the poems did not fully mirror the mood I was in now, they did remind me of how disheartened I was with humanity at the time. The memories came back again, and I realized I was actually contemplating suicide then. However, I am still alive, so this is not sad, but has a moral to the story.
The recent betrayal, brought up once again how disheartened I am now with humanity. I have always sensed the great suffering of humanity, and I suffer with them. Yet, because of my age now, I am somewhat free from the personal suffering caused from the pull of the mass-mind that turns people to gangster-ism to survive. This is important to understand, because suffering blocks spiritual perception, but it is also needed to develop the will-power to silence the mind and perceive the Oneness. Suffering teaches us to be charitable to those just trying to survive.
I can understand how suffering might cause someone to become a crook. I can also see it is necessary for the creative process when writing poetry. Since I have not written poetry in fifty years is proof that my life has been good, up until just now. Yet, thankfully, I didn't need to become a crook to survive. We all suffer, and some turn to crime, but during this Age of Aquarius, ruled by two planets, we will see the divide further widening between good and evil.
Personally, I should have died a long time ago, but I am still alive. This book is a way for me to testify that life does get better, if we can just live long enough to learn to overcome the temptation by not responding in kind. The cross is a symbol to represent how we suffer to create, which leads to being reborn. This is the treasure, the happiness from within. Yet, to search for something, we need to know it exists; and I tell you it does.
I like to think of it this way: Everything we are is a human response to spiritual forces flowing through us. Our bad reaction is the cause of the immaturities and horrors that humankind has enacted upon humanity. The treasure within, is life itself; and it alone is the action that makes us feel alive. If we change our response to that living action, we find the treasure within that adds a sense of delight to everything we see and do. As this spiritual essence grows it shifts our response. It lifts our perception to see the inner essence, and the outer world reflects it. When we quit looking outside ourselves for love, we find the center within, and it brings spiritual understanding.
As we perceive that we are acted upon by the inner spiritual treasure, our reaction gets transformed. Our selfish reaction is mankind's hereditary evil expressed as our love-of-self, and our love-of-the-world that acts against the inner treasure. Yet, if we determine the source of life flows into us, we begin to act with it. Then as we align ourselves in agreement to its influx, it flows as the motion of spiritual life.
The task of this book is to help recognize the inner treasure. It is an esoteric vibration hidden beneath the sensation that expresses in and through our vehicle as lust. Not until we purify our selfish reaction, do the two continual sensations of action and reaction grow together. At midlife, we can again separate them into two distinct sensations, and thereby free ourselves from slavery to reaction. By submitting ourselves to a stronger ruling force from within, we receive the truth from good that turns our sad story into poetry, and this book.
The continual action and reaction to the spiritual Life force is a combat. The motion first separates the good from evil in the corporeal sensation of the body. The truth is then distinguished from falsity in the intellectual aspect, by reducing mind-chatter. The combat ceases when the will takes on the feeling of being lifted by an endeavor toward good, and the spiritual sense of understanding, joins into a unity by the silent feeling of intuitive knowing.
We must learn to apply this knowledge of lofty feelings of goodness in our dealings with others, especially, to those still immature and dishonest; if not, we will become like them. We learn to see them as young and innocent, still unaware they do not need to lie and cheat to survive, for everything leads to the inner treasure.
This book is about how to apply this concept of goodness to those bad actors still lying and cheating. The world is changing, and we are learning to help shift humanity into the Age of Aquarius. The lustful affection of worldly and terrestrial things is being raised into the affection of spiritual and celestial selflessness. This will be a painful experience for some, as the heavenly affection of the brotherhood and sisterhood of humankind is brought down on earth, testing humanity as never before.
Introduction
Recently, someone asked me if I believed in a God, and I answered, “Yes!” Then they asked me, “how do you know one exists?” I replied, “because I can feel It.” I realized I said, “It,” instead of Him, or Her. In retrospect, I realize now the sensation that began in my forties that I had interpreted as the awakening of a feminine aspect of the divine, had actually transformed into a non-gender realization of Oneness.
At this Oneness level of understanding, consciousness is a blending of the masculine and feminine energies before they were separated, before they formed into opposites. My perception of the Divine is in the sensation of unity, the oneness before the pain of separation. I perceive our inmost essential nature as a Conscious Living Substance, beyond gender. Think of this substance as the perception of Oneness. The aspect of Deity calling us back to Unity.
The outside events in each of our lives, is where the masculine and feminine forces play out their disunity. This is reality, but not Actuality. Our separation from the essential Self, is a division into opposites. It is a false state of separation that creates mind-chatter. It is mankind's material bondage to appearances. Beyond appearances is an interplay of forces in their Unity, represented by a balance point within. I call it the “city” of Oneness, because it exists on the spiritual plane, but requires the participation of everyone on this plane for it to be complete.
Our perception of the city of oneness is developed through the process of spiritual regeneration. Purer sensation transforms the corporeal sense-of-self through body consciousness by the feelings of revelation. The movement enlightens the natural mind to become rational. As our awareness is communicated through the sensation of revelatory affections, it transforms our perception by similarities, as the thinking patterns are reduced to an intellectual knowing. Our natural mind consisting of memory and mind-chatter is enlightened into spiritual awareness. The influence during this Age of Aquarius is developing in humanity this concept of an inner city of oneness.
The concepts of an inner city of oneness that offers peace and security for all, must come through the natural mind as ideas and images. It is a desirous quest to create a new sense-of-self. The energy behind the creation of a city does not move itself. We must want revelation if our ideas are to create a greater unity. Our connection between the inner spiritual-mind, and the outer mind of memory and mind-chatter come small revelations that form ideas into a city. As an affection, it is a sense of responsibility moving as a zealous quest toward wholeness.
This questing sensation begins as an uplifting affection able to unite individual effort into a collective. By the use of imagery representing perfect wholeness, the spiritual concept is drawn from our own memory by the use of imagination. This inner spiritual city of oneness. when received as a quest from the collective memory of humanity, transforms our desire nature, raising it from sensual to affectionate.
We are able to access this uplifting affection, as it aligns us to the gravitational flow of spiritual evolution. An image with an affection causes a flowing sensation that could be said to begin creation. Think of a lover, and that affection grows. As an affection, revelation is the concept of the beginning of creation. With an image, it causes an uplifting sensation we call enlightenment.
Enlightenment is represented best by thinking of our human nature, on some level as being divine, and causing an uplifting affection into the mind. The human faculty & function, at the divine level of consciousness is the capacity and ability to being human. Presently in humans it is underutilized. Not until our mind is directed toward the affections of peace and security does it raise our desire nature and open the gate to the inner city of Oneness, as the Treasure.
The gate to the inner treasure is the ability to will love and truth. Only then do we perceive the inner spiritual essence of a thing and are enlightened by it. Without perception of this inner essence of goodness as a substance we can harvest and collect, making us grateful for this capacity, we are only pretending to be good. There are many examples of those who are good at pretending. Yet, because humanity tends to value those who are successful at marketing their pretend goodness, we have lost what truly is good.
To know what is good, we must be able to know what is true. To perceive truth, and to know what is good are celestial essences perceived as warmth and light on the spiritual plane, and love and faith on the physical. When these are present, only then is the mind enlightened by flashes of understanding while reading spiritual truth.
However, truth is not logic, but it is logical. Logic could make someone justify their actions. Above logical truth, is rational, the spiritual understanding of ideas that are both logical and good. This is the higher, rational way of thinking, as spiritual understanding. The ideas of goodness are not yet believed, because they are not yet understood. These are the types of ideas I want humanity to start to believe in. These ideas come more easily, just by remembering them.
Chapter 1: The Treasure
I was not motivated to write another book, not until I chose the title, and then decided to look into why I had chosen it. In Numerology, the word Treasure, is 2 3 5. The only other words in the entire English language with the same vibrations are, animal 2 3 5, Celestial 2 3 5, and Jehovih 2 3 5.
This is important to understand, because we are discussing the animal aspect of our human-response, is first enlightened to become spiritual, and then transformed to become aware of its celestial or divine-nature as an essence. The celestial or divine-response is all love, just as the spiritual response is all thought or knowledge. Think of the physical response as all animal hunches and instincts. The celestial or feeling-response of the Divine, is an intuitive understanding. When we perceive it intuitively first-hand as an experience of enlightenment, it becomes an actual spiritual understanding of knowing.
In Qabalah, the term Jehovih, is sometimes used in the Old Testament as “Jehovih Lord, to signify the Lord as to divine good” (A. E. 850). Thus, “the Lord Jehovih denotes Good Jehovah!” (9167:3), while, “Jehovah God signifies the celestial man” (89).
Since the celestial, is the affection of the “treasure,” it is this “Good Jehovih.” It is the sensation called upon when we need some extra goodness. In this case, Jesus, the Son would represent discovering this treasure within ourselves. It gives us the capacity to love others as ourselves. This capacity is spiritual love, called mutual-love. It is our spiritual Ego, the aspect of love that acts to connect us all by the spiritual essence of the Christ Consciousness that Jesus reached.
This essence is formed by the spiritual movement of mutual-love, as it emotes through our body as we think of others with love. The movement created from us loving others and things, causes a friction that produces warmth. It vivifies our blood stream and then enters the mind as a spiritual essence.
In the mind, this essence is Astral light, from the psychic realm. Yet, psych-ism is a hindrance to spiritual development if people get stuck in its hallucinations. When the essence of astral light is purified and warmed by spiritual love it becomes both the warmth and light of the Limitless Light. The effect of the movement of spiritual light in the mind, is called enlightenment. The actual movement is the “treasure.” The light from the treasure is accumulated as an aspect of the thinking process. It is selfless, and this is why it is said to be built-up in heaven. The movement of love is being stored-up into a willful endeavor that overtakes and silences the mind-chatter.
Think of Astral light as the stored-up sensations of the memories of all the times everyone loved, and were loved. These memories block the affections of our divine beginning. They were implanted in us at birth, by the divine aspect of self, symbolized by the umbilical cord being cut, and the spirit or air-aspect of the Life Force, takes over. As we love and experience the affections of a higher level, such as when it is mutual, we store-up that memory too, until it draws to itself a larger concept of a new sense-of-self.
This new sense-of-self, is unlike our old sense-of-self that was created by knowledge and intellect. The new self, is in our memory implanted in us before our physical birth capable of spiritual understanding. The spiritual light-essence of knowing, unites in a marriage with the celestial warmth, to produce a spiritual essence of understanding. This new capacity to love could be considered Universal Love, for it grows from loving humanity more than ourselves.
Spiritual knowing through mutual love experiences by well-wishing others, combined with a celestial understanding from universal acts of charity, develops the receptivity for an influx. Mutual love attracts the light from the spiritual world as enlightenment, while charity attracts the celestial warmth. Together, the light and warmth deposit an essence in the blood stream. The motions of the affections of mutual and universal love as light and warmth transforms our old sense-of-self, into a giving and receiving station. Our body emotes charity as an affection; and it mimics a motion that stirs a universal memory, a universal-image of ourselves in reflection, as the feeling of that above, as so below.
This larger concept of Self as a feeling, begins to rule over the lower aspect of self, the body chemistry. The larger Self maintains its presence in our mind, by the light of silence. With our mind full of light, heated by a receptivity to an influx, the reaction in the body chemistry no longer responds to love as lust. The influx raises the sensual energy by an affection of love. Our separate sense-of-self, remains outside this love until we learn to detach.
The separate self is still in slavery to the carnal sensation of lust, until we purify its falsity, its selfish human-response to spiritual love. Our slavery to lust falsifies the truth. Our ego uses lust to confirm its separateness. False principles keep us in slavery to lust. It blocks our perception of what is good. Not knowing what is good, comes from the sensation of evil.
Our falsity from lust interprets the pleasures of the world as good. Our life can no longer be directed to good-use, which would bring even greater pleasure and happiness. This is important, because the sensation of good-use is the affection of a creative Muse, in memory of an image of ourselves in reflection, as a likeness of whatever we want; in this case, the feeling of heaven.
Chapter 2: The Conditions
To reach the highest inmost level of Celestial Understanding becoming a likeness the conditions are simple. Certain types of experiences attracts the higher forces of good and evil love. They both want to enter into a vehicle of a lower vibration. Therefore, we do not have to change everything all at once, but we do have to desire change.
We need to reach a level of discomfort with life, and come to understand our present circumstances are our own making. Every desire is fulfilled. When we desire change, it is almost as if the divine memory implanted through the umbilical cord as a vibration within us, starts to reveal itself. Up until now, the discomfort, the boredom, the uselessness, despite our successes, grows stronger. The inner battle has unknowingly given birth to a secret force that now works to raise the lower vibration.
The conditions needed to bring about change are two-fold. First, our desires must be fulfilled, and satiated. We have to experience the results of our desires to realize if they were immature. To rise above our negative thinking and feeling patterns creating our situation, we need a higher image of what we can become. Transformation requires that we desire it, and then form an image in imagination of something we want to bring into reality.
The image of what we desire, is the fulfilling principle of all manifestation. Usually, in human-nature, our lower desire only creates sexual images. Our appetites must be satiated for us to reach a point where to want to change. When desire is transformed from selfish to selfless, we enter the pleasure of the spiritual plane of mutual love. Selfish desires must still be purified of their lustful response if we want to enter into the perception of the inmost sensations of universal love, because there the delight of imagery can be overpowering.
By not responding lustfully to the sensations of a spiritual influx, as sexual, it becomes an affection able to move in and outside the body at will. This happens when we think of someone with mutual-love. Yet, to hold the even higher universal vibration of love, without feeling egotistical, requires our desires, also correspond to an archetypal image.
For an image to transform our human response to love, from lustful to faithful, it cannot be based on anything that might stir a physical desire. A desire to own or to consume something we see, is different if it stirs the affection to adore and acknowledge it. Appreciation is the power to look at love, without lust. This sensation of appreciation signals to our subconscious mind, to show us more beauty. It responds by manifesting more flirtations.
We are learning to love without possessing or ownership. Pain and heartbreak are the result of the falsity of our need to possess something to appreciate it. To have possessive desire in the will-power causes a lustful sensation that veils the spiritual qualities of good and truth. Having good and truth as love and wisdom as an affection of knowing, brings understanding of the inner nature of a thing. To have spiritual life, it must override the possessive desire in the will.
Think of good, as the celestial fire of the spiritual life force. Think of truth as the spiritual light, the proof of the existence of celestial good. As we perceive these qualities in our body as an essence and a motion, our love-nature in our sense of will, begins to have a spiritual life, which brings understanding.
To think from memory, is the use of our intellect. Its knowledge can be handed over to AI. We do not need the mind to store this type of memory-knowledge. However, spiritually, we are talking about thinking from the light of good. This is wisdom, when the light glows by faith, as the proof that good exists.
Truth as light is silent faith. When it becomes an affection, as a result of love, it creates a heat of either love or lust. If it raises our lustful love-nature into the mind, it becomes zeal. Sexual energy at the personality level, as a result, gets lifted out of its sense of separateness. The motion brings the ego or personality up into the level of their individuality, touched by the affection of unity, they are given a spiritual life.
Without this essence formed by silence from love birthing into spiritual life, the sense of separateness experienced at the personality level, leaves the ego in a state of hatred. Our state of separateness acts as a veil that hides this hatred, even from ourselves. Every time we have a bad break-up with someone we love, we experience this inner hatred toward them. Our response is the result of this kind of possessive love.
Alternatively, we are trying to change our possessive response, to become givers of this love. The same hatred exists in our human-nature, in response when someone we love passes away. Our attitude to death, takes us further into a state of separateness. We want to rethink these attitudes, and change how we respond. To use love to create a state of Unity.
Chapter 3: The Precepts
Spiritual p recepts are the laws of sensations that regulat e our behavi o r. Their influence result s in our perceiving Truth, as the light of heaven . Whether we read the Word or hear something that rings true, t he qualities of good and truth contain an esoteric essence that acts as a fluidic substance that has a beneficial effect on our body . The spiritual essence s of creation, the qualities of good and truth that we are receiving, transform negative thinking and feeling patterns.
Thus, “the treasure, signifies divine Truth which is in the Word” (A. E. 840)
The “Word” is the power of thought, whether studied, written or spoken. The “treasure” is inside the thinking process, every time we hear truth, it shines. Spiritual precepts are the little glimpses of light, as faith. They are the aha moments of knowing, from perceiving spiritual truth. T he se moments accumulate as light to overthrow our mind-chatter. Some people see God. When the dominating aspect of our mind is silen ce , we comprehend the past, present, and future as one good perceptio n.
We experience these moments of knowing in meditation and yoga, yet, they are happening all the time. The ones we catch are the ones we want to harvest. By smelling while breathing, we concentrate our attention to discriminate and enter the spiritual sphere of silence in a magnetic feeling of knowing. Behind the spiritual feeling of knowing, is an archetypal image of the celestial gravitational experience of spiritual understanding. This inner knowing of truth resulting from understanding by perception, is our goal.
“ The nose corresponds to the perception of truth” (D.L.W. 254). Yet, “it is the Understanding that smells and tastes by virtue of its perception” (D.L.W. 363).
To experience the gravitational feeling of celestial understanding, we need our consciousness to expand bigger than it is. By the compression of our consciousness wound down into a center, and then released, expands our experience into the spiritual feeling of knowing. Concentrated knowing, compressed down into a whirling motion by the use of will as intention, results in the expansion stage as an exploding feeling called spiritual Understanding.
The two motions together, magnetic compression of the spiritual light, and a gravitational letting-go into the celestial sensation, mimics the infinite and eternal precepts. These spiritual moments of knowing, as the optimistic and willful sensations of faith, give rise to the celestial exploding feeling of understanding, the affection of love emoting. These two in motion, the contraction of the spiritual will, followed by the explosion of the celestial understanding, result in the affection of a spiritual life, because they correspond to faith and charity.
The expanding sensations of faith in combination with the affection of charity admit us into the spiritual degree. Intellectual knowledge as a knowing of Truth, brings the understanding of Good. The realization of a spiritual knowing results in an archetypal precept, when we perceive a spiritual essence in the physical appearance of a thing, and it causes the mind to glow. This is the unlimited power of the perpetual will-to-create. The idea lives in the realm of archetypal images, as the eternal influence on everything created. It holds humanity in perpetual evolution toward oneness. Living in this love-sphere of perpetual expansion, is the true spiritual religion.
The Ego, or Christ Consciousness in us, is the spiritual self that directs all images to our mind. Their precepts influence us to become a better person. The “better” aspect of our Spirit, is our divine Soul, the precept of spirit. Our body is training to follow the precept of spirit. These spiritual concepts unite the body chemistry into a heavenly likeness by a continuous transmission. The more we receive and accumulate these sensations, the more we become a likeness.
The quality of that which is above, is brought down into our sense-of-self as an influx. and leaves behind an essence as a shining feeling. In this way we develop a love for knowing truth as the faith from instruction by the light of knowledge. We do this before we can acquire a love for understanding goodness from the delight of well-doing. These are the “precious things,” the Dew that drops from “heaven,” where the spiritual things from a celestial source enter our mind.
Thus, “Faith is the complex of Truths shining in the mind of man” (U. T. 347).
This “Dew” is divine truth as our response to knowing by understanding. It is a combination of innocence and peace, by a silencing effect on the mind. The innocence is astral light, the mind silenced, made clear and transparent to make room to receive an influx. The mind in a silent state of innocence is wisdom, receives an influx as a momentary state of knowing. It is an aha moment when the essence of good can be perceived as the Limitless Light.
This is the spiritual meaning of Mirth. We think that mirth means laughter. It does, but it is when our own laughter is directed at ourselves. We need to laugh at ourselves for being stupid. When we perceive spiritual good from an aha moment, we realize at the same time how wrong we have been. It should make us chuckle at ourselves for being self-righteous. This is the right use of Mirth.
Thus, the “Dew” is the light of truth multiplying, and pushing the mind-chatter out of the thinking process. The transformed response to truth expanding, creates an opposite motion that causes friction. When the light is warmed by the friction of love, the fructification stage of truth multiplying results in the celestial essence of goodness coming alive in the blood stream as joy. It was always there, we only perceive it after the masculine aspect of wisdom has been brought into divine order by the feminine aspect of spiritual understanding.
Imagine the light in food extracted during digestion to become the heat that regulates the body's immune system. The heat dies down after the light is expended, but imagine if the heat becomes an eternal source of warmth, which happens during the fructification stage, when the process is a spiritual practice.
In the same way, we hang onto a sexual memory as a love experience. It might not actually be love, since heat can transform into lust. Think of lust as temporary, and love as eternal. The fructification process of transforming lust into love; and love into an eternal source of inner heat, is the outcome we are preparing our body to become.
When the mind becomes transparent and silent, such as by smelling while breathing, it begins to transmit spiritual light. This transmission takes place from above, to below, as well as, when we mutually love someone more than ourselves, such as with spiritual-love. Ideas form from this kind of light, and when it fills the mind, we are being guided by intuition.
The benefit from the delight of willing mutual-love, when it reaches the friction in the multiplication stage, is that the light becomes warmth. Then, at the end of the fructification phase while goodness is forming, the delight begins to drip down from our inner heaven, from the head area, filling our body with a spirituous substance.
When the light is willingly transmitted throughout the mind it begins the process of developing a love for the truth. By willing light as truth, causes the movement as the aha moments of intuition. It reshapes the light in correspondence to the goodness left behind by the effort used to make the light move. The effort used to make the light move can be measured by its good-use. Our intention, and our determination, acting as good-use produces the warmth of delight.
Light moving as intellectual knowledge is different from light moving to create goodness. Teaching knowledge is different from demonstrating goodness by our actions. Celestial use is measured by its goodness or understanding, the love of doing good. Spiritual use is measured by its light, related to knowledge, wisdom and knowing, expressed as the love of learning and growing wise. The effort behind these higher loves can be measured; the higher the degree of selflessness in our intention, the less effort; the higher the use, the higher the dignity.
Selfless love, can exist in the determination to fight for our country. Yet, at its highest use, selfless love is still selfish, because it is the desire to be One. All desire starts out as selfish. We are born into the animal aspect of human nature, into the collective astral forces that also contains the past hurt that humans have caused humankind. Astral light is used in witchcraft, conjuring, and séances. The highest use of astral light is when it is used selflessly in affirmative prayer and spiritual healing, light wrapped in the affection of love.
The highest kind of love is when it is conjugial — the desire to be joined as one. From that highest desire springs its good-use, which passes the goodness on to others. This could be more easily understood as mutual-love or universal love, in which, the ultimate determination is to contribute to the collective good of humanity. In all selfless acts, goodness is found as the “Dew” that becomes eternal, by an attunement with conjugial love. Its archetypal symbol is a selfless act as an image causing a sensual understanding as a knowing.
If we were religious, an image of Jesus could perhaps instill a spiritual understanding of knowing. However, holding a flag is different from holding a feeling of hatred. Each of us is holding up a flag of effort to represent the message of our inner treasure. If we could determine what the message of our inner treasure is, our sense of effort would vanish. Sadly, our feeling of effort has developed from our false response to outside stimulation. Our physical senses have built up a resistance to sensing the secret Treasure, by the precept s we perceive.
If we take life in, as Dew, and then identify with the selfless sensation it causes, it takes over our lower negative thinking and feeling patterns of effort. The sense of effort is the result of our love-of-self, formed from our animal-nature that drives us toward the outer world. Yet, once we embark on the awareness of the sense of lust as the effort, then when our animal-nature surfaces as negative mind-chatter, we can begin to be guided from within, to cause our own rebirth
Being guided from within results in the feeling of selflessness and the sense of effortlessness. As our animal-nature becomes subdued by love, our celestial nature begins to drive us inwards in search of the knowledges of knowing and understand good and truth. These knowledges trigger sensations throughout our body that bring interior intelligence and intuitive understanding. These higher sensations, then guide our transformation by the urges of the divine will, and our spiritual awareness is enhanced by the synchronicity of the divine intelligence in everything.
Chapter 4: Willing & Doing
Let us suppose that all of our carnal love-experiences are caused by a selfish feeling in our will-power of being separate from others. The lust that arises as a love-of-self from the feeling of being separate, creates the sensation of effort from doing. The effort required to do almost everything, then causes a sense of pride in our intelligence. Combined with the feeling of lust, our identification to the sensation of effort, turns us further towards a sense of separateness.
Yet, the path to oneness, or unity, exists within this state of separateness. By willing love, even the experience of true mutual-love, reduces the effort expended in the act of doing. The less effort, the less pride from doing, and the higher the vibration of love we can experience in our will-power. As an example, spiritual healing is the result of not identifying with the love-energy as it moves through our body as it is projected out to others who receive it.
By uniting our energy with others, or in a group activity, we enter into a spiritual relationship with them. Uniting with others in a shared cause, where the goal is to improve conditions for others, gives the experience of a higher love, and symbolizes a higher sense of unity. This inner unity, as the oneness of celestial love, is our goal. We still live our separate existence, but with an inner feeling of being in one-body with one-mind. This feeling of Oneness is maintained by the practice of spiritual charity.
Before we have to deal with the intensity of lust that results when we come close to these kinds of higher vibrations of charitable-love, we must purify the desires of the animal-nature. Before we can be guided by a love that is selfless, the material plane is the testing ground for the use of our willful energy. We need to become grateful for the fact that our thoughts do not manifest instantly causing harm. The material world gives us the time to see the repercussions of our selfish ways of thinking and feeling, before we can become more than human.
As we become more experienced in friendships and love-relationship while learning to perceive mutual-love as a living essence, its effect begins to change the direction of our focus. From outward seeking in our youth, to inner questing around middle age, the love of knowing more, leads to the love of understanding others. Whether it is through conflicts, jealousy, or the insecurity if a partner passes away before us, these experiences prepare us for a spiritual life, where there is no death, and our thoughts and feelings manifest instantly.
Death only takes place on the physical plane. When human bodies evolve to where they no longer want to sit, chairs will no longer exist. The need to sit comes from the aspect of human nature that believes it is royal. It is represented by the concept of heaven, and man's ability to become a likeness as the idea that human bodies deserve to sit. Nevertheless, I am surprised when I see a grocery clerk standing beside their cash register. They used to sit on comfortable chairs that swiveled so they could pack the groceries. We took away their right to sit, and their dignity. To be charitable, would be to give them the choice.
Our goal is to experience the higher aspect of love as the affection of charity. The is felt only in the act of giving love as an affection. Realistically, this is not an easy sensation to experience because of the emotions it causes. If we could instantly turn to an act of charity, even as a feeling, like an actor changing roles, it would satisfy all of our desires. We need to prepare for our ultimate goal of Conjugial love; its mere closeness could tempt all of our desires.
Imagine being able to perceive a spiritual sensation that could satisfy even our hunger and thirst. In the afterlife, where there is no food to eat or water to drink, our only satisfaction is getting close to a living human while they are eating and drinking. Many religions practice fasting to represent this idea of preparing for a spiritual life. Even speaking poorly about someone who has passed away is another caution to represent the idea that we never die. Their thoughts and feelings are still alive in us now, when we honor them.
The difference between the spirits in the astral world and us, is that we can still will and do, but they cannot, except through us. Willing love as an affection of charity is self-healing, but only because we are acting in similarity with the giving and receiving motions of divine order. When we are asleep, those motions in the astral plane take over to repair our body. In the same way, if we dwell on the concept of healing, a spiritual affection in the vital soul takes over restoring the memory of our divine soul. The spirit or intellectual vital self, when silent and transparent lets in a charitable, soulful influx from conjugial love.
We are training our vital or animal soul we share with all living creatures, to respond with more love, to everything. When our thoughts dwell on a sense of nothingness, is when we sense the spiritual beauty. Even if we have to produce art as a meditative act, the creativity that results is a natural rhythm of love that changes the patterns to aligns us closer to the four-fold rhythm of divine order.
Think of divine order as two, two-fold pulsations of love, corresponding to sexual orgasm and propagation. The source of divine order is conjugial love. When we no longer respond sexually to the pleasure of a higher love, we feel it in another level. Conjugial love as divine order is a four-fold pulsating enlightenment experience. In forms the “church,” when the body is so full of goodness that it responds to everything with love.
